News & Updates:: Kimbra To Support Gotye On U.S. Spring Tour
Kimbra will be supporting Gotye on his U.S. spring tour which kicks off March 22nd in Washington, DC and will continues through April 12th in San Francisco, California. Prior to joining the tour, the 21 year-old singer and songwriter will be performing at the SXSW Music Conference in Austin, Texas.

Originally from Hamilton, New Zealand, Kimbra has been performing her jazz-inflected pop since she was 14. Her Australian debut, �Vows�, spawned three hit singles, is certified platinum and won Kimbra the ARIA for Best Female Artist. Several of the songs on �Vows� are included on her current U.S. EP �Settle Down�, which was released in October 2011 on Warner Bros. Records.

Kimbra will join Gotye onstage for the U.S. television debut of �Somebody That I Used to Know� on Wednesday night�s �Jimmy Kimmel Live�. Kimbra is currently working on her debut album for Warner Bros. Records with such producers and songwriters as Mike Elizondo, Greg Wells, Greg Kurstin, and John Hill. The release is set for summer 2012.

Canadian heavy metal act, 3 Inches Of Blood, have released the cover art and track list for their upcoming album �Long Live Heavy Metal.� The new album will include twelve new tracks and was produced by Terry �Sho� Murray and the cover was done with Kim Thiessen.

The new album will be released March 26th in Europe and March 27th in North America through Century Media.

In support of their new release, 'Dark Adrenaline', Lacuna Coil will perform an acoustic set and meet-and-greet with their fans at the Cobra Lounge in Chicago on February 10th! Presented by Metal Army America and Unholy Empire, this special night with the band is open to the public and will take place after their performance at Gigantour that night (tickets will be given on a first come, first serve basis; you must be 21+ to receive entry into the club).

As previously announced, Lacuna Coil will support Megadeth on their critically-acclaimed "Gigantour" around the release of 'Dark Adrenaline'. Gigantour was founded by Megadeth frontman Dave Mustaine in 2005; this run will also feature Motorhead and Volbeat.

Megadeth has launched his critically acclaimed touring festival "Gigantour" to a roaring and acclaimed start in the northeast U.S. Sharing the stage every night with the headlining Megadeth are Motorhead, Volbeat and Lacuna Coil on the trek which kicked off January 26th in Camden, NJ at the Susquehanna Bank Center and has already been highlighted by a sold out January 28th show at New York City's Theater at Madison Square Garden. "Gigantour" is set to hit Los Angeles' Gibson Amphitheatre Friday, February 24th and wraps Saturday, March 3rd in Austin, TX. See the tour dates below.

The band's 13th album, the appropriately titled 'Th1rt3en', was released November 1st and debuted #11 on the Billboard Top 200 chart and #1 on the Billboard Hard Rock chart. The album also landed on international charts including Top 10 placements in Argentina, Finland, Korea and Japan.

Good Old War will perform four dates in Canada this spring, as part of their nearly two-month long trek in support of their new full-length studio album 'Come Back As Rain' � out March 6th on Sargent House. The Belle Brigade and Family of the Year will be joining Good Old War for the duration.

The Philadelphia folk trio will return to Edmonton, Vancouver and Calgary, where they performed last summer with Allison Krauss and Union Station. Good Old War has amassed a dedicated following over the past two years by touring with a diverse pack of artists, including Guster, Joshua Radin, Brandi Carlile, Dr. Dog, Xavier Rudd and Gomez.

The new album, 'Come Back As Rain', is the follow up to their self-titled sophomore album, which debuted in the USA at #2 on Billboard's New Artist Chart and ranked #1 on both Amazon.com and iTunes' Singer/Songwriter chart. 'Come Back As Rain' will hit stores on March 6th and features the first single "Calling Me Names," which has been prominently featured on iTunes Canada.
