Sasha Grey Returns to Mainstream Movies

Adult film superstar Sasha Grey has landed her second mainstream movie role after her impressive dramatic debut in Steven Soderbergh's "The Girlfriend Experience."

Grey will join Thomas Jane, Jeremy Piven and Rob Lowe in Mark Pellington's low-budget drama "I Melt With You," the actress' manager has confirmed to TheWrap.

The film follows a group of college buddies who look within themselves and find emptiness when they have their annual summer reunion as adults. They decide to resurrect a pact they vowed to live, die and kill by.

Selena Gomez 'cancels concert dates'

Selena Gomez has cancelled several upcoming concert dates because of strained vocal cords.

The 18-year-old announced the changes on her Facebook page on Wednesday, stating that she has been ordered by her doctor not to travel or sing for the next seven days while her voice heals.

"After my two-week promo tour... I started to feel pain in my throat from talking too much. As soon as I came home I went to see my doctor and he said that I had damaged my vocal chords and that I had acid reflex (probably from pickles). He put me on medication and wanted to see me in a few days. When I went back my voice had gotten much worse. He then told me that I had to cancel my shows and be on vocal rest for a week," she wrote.

Johansson Replacing Jolie in 'Gravity'

Scarlett Johansson is preparing to reunite with her "Iron Man 2" co-star Robert Downey Jr. after replacing Angelina Jolie in new sci-fi movie "Gravity", according to a report. The "Wanted (2008)" beauty was originally offered the role as director Alfonso Cuaron's leading lady in the upcoming 3-D film, but she declined and now Johansson has "verbally agreed" to star.

The New York Daily News claims Downey, Jr. is slated to appear alongside the "Lost in Translation" actress in what Cuaron is allegedly touting as "the most ambitious film, technology-wise, since Avatar".

Sci-fi epic "Avatar", directed by James Cameron, was lauded for its stunning 3-D effects and won Oscars for Art Direction, Cinematography and Visual Effects at the Academy Awards earlier this year. It also became the world's highest grossing film of all time after earning more than $2 billion at the global box office, beating the previous record of $1.8 billion set by Cameron's last smash hit, "Titanic".
