The hitmaker has received the highest individual number of nominations for the annual ceremony - Choice Male Artist, Choice Fashion Icon: Male, Choice Male Hottie, Choice Twit, and Choice Single by a Male Artist for 'Boyfriend' - with hit TV show 'The Vampire Diaries' leading the way overall with six nods.

The drama series is in the running for Choice Fantasy/Sci-fi series, Choice fantasy/sci-fi series actress for both Nina Dobrev and Kat Graham, Choice fantasy/sci-fi TV series actor for Paul Wesley and Ian Somerhalder, with the latter also up for Choice Male Hottie.

'American Idol' is up for five awards, with judges Steven Tyler and Jennifer Lopez nominated in the Choice TV: Male Personality and Choice T : Female Personality categories and contestants Scotty McCreery and Lauren Alaina up for Choice TV: Male Reality and Choice TV: Female Reality Star. It's final nomination is in the hotly-contested Choice TV: Reality Competition Show, where it will vie for the accolade with 'America's Next Top Model', 'Survivor: One World', 'The Voice' and 'The X Factor'.

Vampires Everywhere! has been preparing for the release of their sophomore album, 'Hellbound and Heartless', which will be available on June 19 via Hollywood Waste Records. In anticipation of the release the band has revealed both the track listing and album artwork for 'Hellbound and Heartless'. Co-produced by the band and Mike Sarkisyan and Tommy Decker of Grammy-nominated, alternative-metal act Spineshank, this album showcases the darker side of Vampires Everywhere!. "Early on while recording this record I felt an amazing force behind it," says vocalist Michael Vampire. "'Hellbound and Heartless' is a piece of me and a lyrical representation of who I am. I dedicate this record to our fans and everyone that believed in our vision.

Nearly two years ago, Rise Against joined The Sound Strike, a coalition of Artists that have been committed to supporting the International Boycott of Arizona in the wake of the passage of the anti-immigration law SB 1070 and to raise awareness and opposition to the predatory and punitive treatment of immigrants in Arizona. With the Sound Strike’s recent announcement of shifting strategies Rise Against will return to the state they last played with a show at Mesa Amphitheatre on July 14, 2009 with performances in Flagstaff and Tempe during their North American fall tour (see below for all fall tour dates).

The Other is considered to be Europe's most famous horror-punk band. The Other covers a wide range of fans from the Goth Scene to Rock and Metal fans. After the very successful release of 'New Blood' in 2010 the band is now coming back with their new album called 'The Devils You Know'. Once again The Other worked with well known producer Waldemar Sorychta for this release. 'The Devils You Know' will be released July 17th in North America and will be available in a standard jewel case and digital download version. The artwork and track listing have been revealed today.

Run For Cover Records have signed Coasta to the label. The Long Island rock band will be releasing their debut on vinyl later this summer. Coasta craft brooding, atmospheric pop-rock songs akin to Nada Surf, Bends-era Radiohead and Wilco. Featuring the current three piece lineup of Jamey Lacey, Steve Kupillas and Chris Lorenz, Coasta’s 5-song self-titled debut EP blends a diversity of styles, from the folky, solemn track ‘The Slide’ to the dense, haunting mid-tempo rocker ‘Sunzal’.
